“Wait… what if?” The internet is full of conspiracy theories. Some are just fun to read about, others feel totally wild, and a few actually make people stop and think.
In this poll, you’ll go through 27 of the most talked-about conspiracy theories. All you need to do is vote on how believable each one sounds to you - all in, kind of suspicious, or not buying it at all.
So, how far down the rabbit hole are you willing to go? Scroll down, and let’s find out! 👽

Princess Diana’s Death Was No Accident
It's a pretty indeterminate method of trying to k**l someone, people survive crazy accidents and it's a 50/50 proposition the car will hit the right object at the right angle and spot to ensure actual death. It does not seem feasible, especially with the immediate public response and life saving actions plus all the accident sites scrutiny.
The CIA Was Involved In The JFK Assassination
The Pyramids Were Built Using Lost Ancient Technology
We’re Living In A Simulation
Not a conspiracy theory. This one comes from some of the sharpest minds in Physics, and its based on the fact that matter is astoundingly unsubstantial, phsyical laws don't work at the quantum layer, and when you therefore look at the material world as a form of information and suppose that the universe will collapse into one big black hole eventually, all of reality is just the projection of matter off of black holes. The chief problem with this theory is that the universe doesn't appear to have nearly enough matter to collapse back into black holes.
The Covid-19 Pandemic Was Planned
9/11 Was An Inside Job
I admit some aspects could be suspicious if you read them in a certain way, but that is how conspiracy theories work: they cherrypick real events and link them together with paranoia and fear. We simply have to admit that, sometimes sh¡t just happens. I think some people will get some confort in thinking that is was an inside job rather than the alternative: the most powerful country in the world, with the largest army and most expensive security measures could possibly be attacked in a civilian target within its territory by a fringe terrorist group in the other side of the planet.
There’s A Secret Plan For A One-World Government
There are probably multiple plans over the course of history but none that ever worked and probably never will
The World Is Run By A Secret Elite Group (Like The Illuminati)
The Simpsons Has Predicted Too Many Things To Be A Coincidence
The series is over 30 years old. 782 episodes so far commenting on current social, political or economic affairs. Statistically, they had to be correct about some things...
The World Already Ended In 2012 And We’re In An Alternate Reality
Just like the 'simulation' question, it's irrelevant. The world we perceive *is* our reality, in any practical terms.
There’s A Secret City Under The Earth (Hollow Earth Theory)
Area 51 Is Hiding Evidence Of Alien Life
The Bermuda Triangle Is A Portal To Another Dimension
The North American Great Lakes are more dangerous than the "Bermuda triangle".
Birds Aren’t Real - They’re Government Drones
One of my cats is, sadly, a phenomenal hunter and I've seen the insides of too many to know that they are most definitely flesh and bone. (for anyone worried, she is older now and doesn't hunt them like she used to, hasnt even brought any back this year yet 🤞. Mice and rats though...).
The Moon Landing In 1969 Was Staged
As has been observed, it was the height of the Cold war, and USSR would have been monitoring everything. They'd have said if the transmissions weren't coming from the moon.
Fluoride In Water Isn’t Safe
My grandfather discovered the benefits of putting fluoride in mouthwash, and National Heritage decided to mark his birthplace. You can tell which house it is - it's the one with no plaque.
Chemtrails Are Used For Mind Control
They just bloody vapour tails ffs will people shouting this bs get a life already 😂
The Earth Is Flat
If the earth were flat, cats would have pushed everything off the edge by now.
The Moon Is A Hologram
This just proves that 1-2% of pandas are, to use the technical term, nutters.
When you set up something like this, make the 4 answers the same for each question. A third of them are "never heard of it" (didn't hear this yet) " don't believe it: (may have heard but don't believe it.) Come on BP, we know you copy paste everything that is on this site, but THIS you could not copy paste?
I'm glad that the choice of answers differed a bit from question to question. The variation was almost always an improvement on cut and paste. I'm also glad that truth is not a popularity contest!
